Peace in Gaza and Palestinian Self-Determination

Fundamental rights are non-negotiable, and the sacredness of human life should be the cornerstone of any foreign policy. What is happening in Gaza is a genocide and human rights organizations – from Amnesty International, to Human Rights Watch, United Nations experts, and the Israeli organization B’Tselem – have made that clear. Tens of thousands of innocent people have been killed, communities have been destroyed, and children are starving. We must bring an end to this suffering and enforce international law through:

  • An immediate ceasefire with full humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, the release of all hostages, and due process and release for political prisoners.
  • Declaring a comprehensive arms embargo and the ending of all military aid to Israel, demonstrating the U.S. stands with our fellow democracies in enforcing international law.
  • Realizing the self determination of the Palestinian people and an end to the Israeli Occupation of the West Bank and Gaza.
  • Through a multilateral effort, ensure equal protections for Palestinians under international law.
  • Comprehensive strategies to tackle Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and anti-Palestinian discrimination here at home and across the globe.
